Subaru Company abandoned the charged coupe BRZ

Subaru Company has no plans to release “charged” version of the coupe BRZ. Moreover, in the division Subaru Tecnica International (STI) in development at the moment there is no models. The company “Toyota”, in turn, is considering several “charged” options for twin Subaru BRZ – Coupe GT86. Among them, there is the hybrid version with a mechanical supercharger.
“All the attention is now focused on increasing sales of Subaru worldwide. We are still a small automaker. Our resources are limited and must be used for its intended purpose. This means that now the company has no plans to make another STI-model “- said Senior.

The head of the Australian division of Subaru said that his team prepares some special versions of BRZ, details of which are not divulged Senior. Moreover, the coupe is already modifying prepared STI. From the standard coupe it differs with six-piston Brembo brakes and a modified suspension with elements Bilstein.
